I am a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science working with Prof. Tim Finin.
My Ph.D thesis deals with Spam Blog(Splog) Detection. Over the course of my graduate studies I have been working on the Blogosphere,
Semantic Web and Machine Learning, and hold a Fellowship from IBM Toronto Labs.
I also work closely with Prof. Anupam Joshi, Prof. Yelena Yesha, Prof. Tim Oates and Dr. James Mayfield. My work has received mention in Baltimore Sun, Wired, Red Herring and Information Week, and is being used by a popular blog search engine. I graduate next Spring and welcome leads and contacts on potential career opportunities. |
